Confiance University Begins Online Operations
Reston, Virginia, June 12, 2012 – Today Confiance officially launched its cloud-based content platform — Confiance University. CU, www.confianceuniversity.com, provides a platform for an expanding catalog of training, knowledge sharing, and certification credentials for business transformation professionals. Training has consistently been a significant need for individuals working in organizations as well as professionals providing services to organizations. Increasingly, training is becoming a key differentiator to improve business performance in the highly competitive marketplace. Confiance believes that successful organizations understand people are their most valuable asset and training investments are critical to improve performance and morale in human capital.
Confiance understands that enabling organizations to meet today’s business drivers is of paramount importance. Consequently it developed e2®, e-Learning Enablement in which organization’s can leverage a cost effective, scalable e-Learning solution consisting of methods, best practices and instructional design coupled with a given technology platform. Confiance University’s e2® content library is planned to grow to address the knowledge requirements for business transformation professionals leveraging Confiance’s best-practices consulting experience as well as technology, industry and academic partners.
Dave Wolcott, Confiance’s CEO, said, “We developed customized business process management courses for clients over the last five years. We realized a significant gap exists in providing cost-effective training for the millions of individuals who are involved with on-going business transformation initiatives across all industries, geographies, and in both the public and private sectors. CU will grow over time to address the core competency areas for business transformation consultants and practitioners.“
“Business Process Management cuts across functional lines, and is a continuous activity necessary to achieve the competitive objectives of agile, high performance organizations. With a bewildering array of methods, tools, techniques, functional roles, and IT platform dependencies – we realized it was time to step forward and provide the training, knowledge, and certification validation for the large and growing business transformation community,” said Navin Maganti, Confiance’s President.
“Confiance University delivers robust practitioner-developed eLearning courses which provide the following benefits: 1) saves travel dollars, 2) reduces ‘lost’ productive employee time, 3) addresses geographically diverse organizations, 4) provides consistent delivery quality, and 5) longer term, higher retention vs. traditional training. A recent industry study found that over 90% of the respondents reported positive ROI results from BPM initiatives, and over half reported returns exceeding twice their initial investment,” said Bart Snell, Confiance COO/CFO. “We believe CU is a natural partner for organizations implementing Transformation initiatives to ensure employees and consultants have the knowledge and skills to successfully embrace business transformation and the related best practices and enabling technology platforms.”
CU’s eLearning courses are focused on Business Transformation as: a discipline, technology platforms that help in transformation implementation and courses built on the Confiance Transformation Framework℠. Additional topic and knowledge areas will be built in collaboration with industry and academic partners, in such areas as Six Sigma, BPM-centric IT platforms, and related professional certification/qualification validation for practitioners.
