Dave Wolcott is Confiance’s chief executive officer. Under his leadership the company has achieved sustained double-digit growth and continues on its mission of becoming the premiere global Business Transformation provider. He oversees the strategic vision, sales and go-to-market strategy for Confiance and is responsible for the company’s overall performance. Dave’s founding corporate philosophy continues to direct the company every day: solve customer problems with unrelenting commitment to quality and affordability. His technical and leadership experience matched with his drive, integrity and commitment to serving clients and partners are felt daily at client sites and by the highly capable Confiance consultants. He continually instills a culture of agility, innovation and client satisfaction that uniquely differentiates the company from the competition. Dave has over 20 years of solutions sales, operations, and management experience in the international business and technology sectors. His leadership training started as a Marine Corps officer, leading an Infantry and Reconnaissance Platoon in various activities including providing security to Operation Restore Hope in Somalia, with no casualties. Entering the private sector, he held a series of steadily more senior sales positions in the Business Process Reengineering/Business Process Management professional services segment at American President Lines, Born Information Services, BusinessGenetics, and Windward Consulting Group. Today, Confiance is chosen by clients to both lead new transformation initiatives and rescue troubled business transformation initiatives for clients in a variety of market verticals, global locations, and functional disciplines. Dave graduated from The George Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts and served as Captain in the United States Marine Corps from 1992 to 1996.
Navin Maganti oversees the corporate strategy, marketing and delivery solutions at Confiance. His key priorities are establishing the Confiance vision, keeping Confiance innovative, and making clients successful in realizing the promise of process. Integrating his experiences leading transformation engagements at Fortune 500 companies, Navin developed and deployed the Confiance Transformation Framework℠ to streamline and accelerate client engagements. Clients find his ability to address both conceptual and implementation challenges particularly valuable as he draws on his in-depth and broad knowledge spanning Business Process Management (BPM), Enterprise Architecture (EA) and Cloud Services. Navin is an industry thought leader in emerging Transformation strategies, methodologies, and technologies. In addition to the tools and technologies required for successful transformation projects, Navin is passionate that training and eLearning become key ingredients for an organization to adopt change. His enthusiasm and vision are instrumental in Confiance’s creation of its structured curriculum for eLearning which will become more prominent in 2012. He serves on the advisory board of Kenergy Group (http://www.kenergywind.com), where he guides in application of education & technology to green and sustainability solutions. Mr. Maganti has over 12 years of progressive technology, sales & management experience in North America, Europe, and Asia. He holds a MBA from Temple University, as well as a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from Pune University in India.
Greg McCaffrey currently leads Corporate Strategy and Business Development for the 2015 SBA National Government Prime Contractor of the Year, KeyLogic Systems. Greg is a global business transformation professional services consulting executive who has supported numerous industry sectors, clients and global public sector initiatives at the federal, state and local levels. Greg has over twenty years of public sector professional services leadership experience and has held senior consulting positions with KPMG LLP, Soza/Perot Government Systems, Rapidigm (Fujitsu Consulting) and several successful venture capital backed government contractors. Greg has held executive positions at the partner, regional industry leader, COO and business unit president levels and has personally led multi-national professional services teams providing delivery to both Fortune 100 commercial aerospace and defense and public sector clients located in more than 46 countries. Greg led public sector teams both as an in-house leader and as the outsourced head of public sector business for several large industry-leading technology and engineering companies. An expert in domestic and international public sector transformation, his projects have included large scale privatization of state owned enterprises in the Former Soviet Union; transfer of the Panama Canal from U.S. government to commercial ownership; development of electrical utilities privatization models for the U.S. DoD; establishment of complex supply chain systems and associated technology in the UAE; development of internal audit structures for the Afghan Ministry of Finance; and comprehensive public sector business unit restructuring for a Fortune 100 client. Greg is a former United States Air Force Officer and graduate of the University of Massachusetts with advanced education at the Air Force Institute of Technology, Harvard University and Air War College.
Ralph Thompson is responsible for European operations with the primary objectives of business development as well as enhancement of Confiance’s solutions portfolio, including process profiling, blueprinting and Business Process Management (BPM) integration. Mr. Thompson brings over 12 years of experience in delivering BPM, Enterprise Architecture (EA) and SAP solutions. In 1997 he founded the first company to sell and support ARIS in the UK, which later became IDS Scheer UK. Mr. Thompson also delivered training programs for process analysis and implementation on behalf of SAP UK and was a Product Manager for the enterprise architecture tool, System Architect, at Popkin Software (now Telelogic). Previously, Mr. Thompson was a project manager and consultant for Team 121 (Logica) and EDS, delivering large-scale ERP projects. Mr. Thompson graduated from Manchester University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Production Engineering.
Mr. Shirley is currently the CEO of The Pegasus Group, an International Trade and Consulting firm with offices in San Antonio, Washington, and New York. He is the former CEO of Westland Helicopter with over 30 years of public sector experience at the senior executive levels within the Department of Defense and commercial industry. He is widely recognized for documented successes in setting productive performance policies and making excellent executive decisions in the areas of administration, personnel management, defense acquisition, government contracting, aircraft maintenance, aerospace engineering, supply, budget, construction, finance, information technology, and aircraft operations. He is a skilled International Negotiator with experience in foreign military sales, joint ventures, defense issues, intelligence matters, and government contracting.
During more than a decade as a senior member of the public services teams at Rapidigm (Fujitsu Consulting), KPMG LLP, KPMG Consulting, and BearingPoint, he has demonstrated cross-firm, cross-spectrum skills in business development, strategic sourcing, strategic planning, program management, business process re-engineering, activity based costing/management, change management, outsourcing, information technology assessment and integration, logistics management and training management for clients in both the public and private sectors. He was recently directly involved with the successful market positioning, pursuit and win of the Presidential Helicopter Program valued at >$4B for the joint Lockheed Martin/Augusta Westland helicopter team. He has provided strategic leadership and public sector consulting business structuring advisory services to several of the largest global defense contractors. He completed a successful career in the Air Force, rising from Basic Airman to General Officer. He is a former fighter pilot and veteran of Vietnam and Desert Storm. He is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy with degrees in Engineering Management and International Affairs and holds a Master’s Degree in International Affairs from the University of Southern California.
He is a trustee of the Falcon Foundation at the United States Air Force Academy and senior board member of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA).
As a Board Member, Ajit Thakur brings over 30 years experience growing and improving businesses through strategic planning, marketing, business development, and operational excellence across a spectrum of industries — chemicals, consumer durables, electronic components, energy, industrial products, IT, materials, medical technology, and water. Internationally, he has worked in Greater China, North Far-east Asia, South Far-east Asia, South Asia, and Europe. Mr. Thakur is Managing Director of Optimus Services AG’s North American Operations. Optimus is a Switzerland-based innovator and supplier of integrated operating rooms for the global healthcare industry. The company’s novel solution reduces surgical infection risk, enhances patient safety, and increases surgical case throughput. Previously, he ran a boutique management consultancy providing strategy, marketing, and operations advice, and due diligence and transactional support for alternate investments. Before that, he served as COO and EVP of a private-equity backed global manufacturer of apparel accessories with multi-plant, multi-location operations. His earlier career was with Fortune 1000 companies – Cabot Corporation, Corning incorporated, and Teledyne Inc. Mr. Thakur received his MBA from Harvard Business School and Bachelors degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India. He holds four US and international patents.
As a board member, Vinay Rao uses his industry experience to provide council on growing and expanding Confiance’s domestic and international market presence. Mr. Rao is an entrepreneur with extensive experience in international business and technology and has successfully launched international marketing, sales and distribution and information technology businesses, with a strong focus on the Asian and European markets. Mr. Rao is a 15-year technology veteran and has successfully overseen a number of management functions including operations, marketing and technical implementation.
